Caxton: T would be a disaster way way way beyond the Nextel disaster IMO. Since Ramsey Su wants substance here, just for fun (padding) here we go. Nextwave was a major string in the Q's bow for the future in the early days. See header for other Q thread. Yes, I was in the Q in the early 90's when it was a "story stock" so I remember well. Nextwave was the key to opening up CDMA nationwide with a "friendly" company. And even in the old days it was to emphasize data. To have Nextwave swallowed up by any repeat any of the "big boys" is not a good thing IMO. But that of course would really depend on whether the swallower went with the ancien regime or with CDMA One full speed ahead. What is needed is Nextwave CDMA One full speed ahead on providing CDMA data nationwide. Chaz
