Hi Tom & Dave and all...i visited the coffee shop once and it brought back memories of my 3rd yr rotation thru the psych ward...to much warm fussy feelings for an ole fart like me...the recent mini correction has been nice for starting some core type positions to aim in a taxable account and add more shares to some i started in june...so far am working on: msft; egrp; sch; tbh; aol; nok; wmt; & astn...plan mostly the big cap core type for this account...i realize that they may not do as well aiming as smaller caps but this is what i want in this account...in an ira im going more for the type aim stocks i see mentioned here..so far left overovers from other misadventures are: soss; int; flmk; all that seemed to have a survival chance and am trying to aim my way out of lt losses...have added new ones: jbl; nis; apcc...so far have only gotten buys from good ole aim...but realize one must be patient when starting up aim, as i suspect it will take several months before the move upwards begin( my guess is 4thq99) ...i find that just averaging down and waiting for confirmation that this is just the way it goes the difficult part of beginning aim...bj

Hi Dave, I think Bernie G. just mentioned recently that he'd AIM'd and bought more MRK. He's done very well with it over the years with AIM managing his inventory.

I have BMY, BSX (oops!) and CHIR in inventory. Recently CHIR has been up, BMY steady and BSX hit the skids with that recall last week. I'm just the warehouse guy trying to add some balance to the Supply/Demand equation!

Best regards, Tom
