Hello Don and all, I think I can wrap things up for you. I now have the answer with a high degree of confidence regarding the Gilder Deal. The answer is they have a relationship but are not related. I did not reach this conclusion through blood tests or birth records, or anything spectacular but rather an article that was given to me through an undisclosed source who is part of my trading network. This article satisfied my disbelief and actually answered the question. It was an article written in the Economy section of the National Journal and was written on page 29 , vol 27 Number 4 in 1995. It talks about Richard Gilder and how is manages money for editorial writers including Wall Street journalists and other members of the "tightly knit conservative community". George Gilder was one of the individuals quoted and acknowledged as a friend but also mentions they are not related.That by itself convinced me even though both fathers are named Richard and dead, both Gilders are from New YorK, both Gilders have a link to Steve Forbes, Both Gilders are conservative republicans, and both Gilders were in the same stock at the same time. The odds are mind numbing. IMO, there is much more to this story then meets the eye and we will never know the full story. I still find it very hard to believe that they no longer have a relationship as George Gilder suggested. I find it equally weird that Rita would lie to 2 separate callers. The only way we will ever know if there is more of a relationship than currently suggested is if someone from Gilder Gagnon clues us in anonymously (just PM me if you know anything)or likewise from the George Gilder camp. I think the odds of that happening are as high as all these coincidences about them not being related. So with that said, this chapter of the Gilder saga is closed and we move on to better things. This trade was closed out at a profit at about 26 and change. It actually triggered a buy while I was out of town so I didn't even realize it until I returned. End of Subject-NEXT, Rob
