Probably dubbed "super iron" because of its highly reactive valence state. If it gets to production probably would be competitive with primary batteries like flashlight and smoke detector(look out ULBI). Could take some effort to make the stuff stable on the shelf. Lots of questions to be answered before entry in rechargeable market.

Rich,

If its only a 50% increase, it will compare with the next generation VLNC batteries. However, it will take a long time before commercialization. It does not concern me short-term, but something to keep an eye on long-term.
