Tried something this morning, but it did not get filled. I tried to collar the announcement with a: Sell StopLimit at 1299 Buy StopLimit at 1306 The mini traded at 1306 for three ticks, unfortunately I was not one of the lucky fills. Canceled both orders and was not hurt for trying. The only that would have sucked would have been a shake in bake, which could have happened. There was a 7 point spread so I was somewhat protected on the shake n bake, but the other side might not have been filled had it been a fast market...so there was some risk there clearly. In any event....did not work. Would be nice to be able to enter a stoplimit order with a range. In other words, if 1304 is hit, fill me within 2 points. That would give it some room in these fast markets.... Well, now to figure out what today will do....
