Anyone still here?
I'll see if I can generate some sort of dialogue.
Possible positives for BA include:
1. Improved Asian economic outlook. It was a drag on BA when things were dismal and the inverse should be true.
2. Labor negotiations seem to be going well. Sure, there's the occasional sabre rattling, any good negotiation will have that, but I don't sense the strong adversarial tone that has been present in the past - last time, for example, when there was a strike.
3. Delta II is hugely successful. Problems were pinpointed with Delta III - what we need now is a successful launch to build confidence in that program. And Delta IV is in the wings.
4. 717 offsets with the Chinese should help improve the outlook for that program.
5. We're not selling 737's at a loss anymore. I think it's good to loose a sale than focus primarily on market share at the expense of profits.
6. New 777, 767 and 747 derivatives will keep those programs viable and profitable.
7. Technically, even though the price of BA has been stuck in the mid to low 40's since the big run-up in April, there has been a slight uptrend to the pattern with higher lows the rule.

Anyone care to add to the list, blow holes in my logic or suggest a downside?
