How naive some of us are when there are no cues. I was not serious.

You love to pidgeon-hole a guy don't you?

Is there a fancy old English word that would better fit for "pidgeon-hole"?

Hi Edwarda -- please help me understand your post.

When you say, "How so very American...," I get the impression that your (Hi, Doctor J!) thinking "Amercian" is bad or stupid or worse. Not asking you to defend. Just curious.

When you say, "...so very naive!," I am just plain stumped.
The views you commented on might be called many things but "naive" doesn't seem to fit. No biggie in my book but since this thread goes off on words and meanings now and then, thought I'd "contribute."
