EDIG says they are in negotiations with possible OEMs. I am trying to understand how this might still be a possible connection, given the latest press release by Sony. I you or someone could explain this to me, it would be appreciated.

IMHO, the more high profile companies EDIG does business with, the better. I think a company increases it's risk when it spreads itself too thin by having many product lines ( if you're a small company). I'm happy to see that EDIG (RE: Fred Falk's letter to shareholders) will continue to concentrate only on its leading technologies.
