AOL clearly not as strong as EBAY or AMZN today... Because AMZN and EBAY have fallen from higher highs, are they the better bet in a recovery? If all 3 are perceived as industry leaders, perhaps they'd be a better 'long' bet than AOL. Any thoughts?eom

<<Has anyone heard what the status of the talks between
T and AOL is? Last rumor I heard was that T wanted
to receive $10, but AOL proposed paying $3 for cable access.
Did they resolve this issue?

That was the last I heard as confirmed fact. Lots of rumors floating around...but I hate rumors.

Regardless, I think something will happen soon. 20003 ?? I don't think so...AOL aint waiting that long and Case and Armstrong wouldn't be talking now for a deal 3 years away. They will do something sooner, imo, and will probably be something like an agreement/merger/buyout between aol and athm.

Have a great weekend...I am vacationing in sunny florida...nice to come in from the beach and see aol and all my other stuff doing well !!
