I'm no where near the 'quant' that you are.

Essentially, where the situation had been bad and deteriorating, we now have a situation which is anywhere from bad and improving to mediocre and improving.

Until this week, WFR had been seriously oversold unless you felt bankruptcy was the destination.

While I don't see $50 in the cards, $25 isn't out of the question if price hikes stick; wafer sales volume increase; and costs stay under good control.

From the news I'm reading and the info I gleaned from the conference call, I believe that each is a probable outcome.

As a wild guess at what you might have missed, it probably has something to do with increased wafer sales volume and the marginal increase in gross margins on those incremental wafers which are being sold at higher prices.
