Am I reading your chart correctly? Didn't you forget to add the stock splits that occurred during the last year? (AMZN 3 for 1?)...not sure of the exact split dates for the stocks listed without looking up the information.

Thanks Eric, for the summary. But may I add that if you had bought 100 shares just....8 days later, on Jan 8, 1999,

For Amzn, you paid bet. $180 to $199
For Yhoo, you paid around $180
