All the same, we're not seeing any signs of an Armstrong / Chambers open and honest communication with their customers, investors or any other stakeholder.

Regardless of what equipment decisions,WCOM makes going forward, customers such as the CBOT just won't let themselves be held hostage again. At the very least, I would expect the CBOT to have at least 2 unique suppliers of facilities that the CBOT itself trusts. And it wouldn't surprise me to see WCOM eliminated from that picture.

Several years ago, when most of their business was based upon the PSTN, the CBOT had more than double the capacity than that dictated by their basic business requirements coming from 3 different suppliers.

This organization won't trade even a minute of outage for lower costs. IMO, WCOM is toast at that account and others.
