I'm sure you know that's not what I intended. But it seems pretty clear to me that Newbridge has not been as effective communicating their strengths to the investment community and public at large as the other players have been.

Ask the average Joe on any street, outside of Ottawa, what Newbridge does and I doubt you'll find anyone that's even heard of Newbridge let alone know what they do. This however, is not true to the same extreme with Nortel, Cisco or Lucent. Most likely this is a result of Newbridge growing up selling to telcos whereas the others have sold to the smaller businesses for years. You simply don't market to telcos the way you would to small business.

So, you may be right - a full-page ad in the WSJ just might hit the spot from time to time.
