Semantics j. Franchisees=client for PABN doesn't it j? They make money off of the deal whether you call them clients or "franchisees" right j? I would imagine it's for the same reason any other company that offers "franchisees(clients)" training.So they have an idea of how the business is run that they are starting in. " why would they seek out partners that would operate their franchises who are unfamiliar with Windows." Who said they are j? If someone decides that they want to try the business at least IT is trying to make sure they are prepared.After all it is their decision to try the business correct? Or are you implying here that IT is holding a gun to their head and forcing them to buy a franchise thus making them a client of IT.
