It's not the actual dollar figure of the price, it's the rate of increase and volatility that makes potential temporary day-traders out of those who are believers in buy and hold.

Speaking for myself only, I continued to acccumulate SNDK below 70. But the swings between 80 and 65 in a matter of weeks would give doubt to anyone. Eg : given the volatility, is there room to have a core holding, and still do a little bit of day trading, instead of just straghtforward accumulation? It's not that logical.

I guess I'm holding on, waiting for the big explosion in flash ram and CF to happen, but the rate of increase is quite dramatic...

But if SNDK turns out to be a 'flash' in the pan, then it would be a material loss, I pay very close attention to any holdings that could cause me potential pain. SNDK has a good story and the patents look strong, but there are still a lot of unknowns.

I know most people ignore insider sales and look at insider buying instead, but I'd be a lot more comfortable if the big stream of insider sales stopped to a trickle.
