Provocative, maybe, but not a provocateur. We may have a different kind of Republican party here in New York than you are used to. We produce George Patakis--and I wish he would run--rather than Tom Delays. The President is an easy job? You mean simple things like deciding whether young men go into war to live or die? Piece of cake.

I've already named my dream candidate on these boards. Colin Powell. And I'm not the first to suggest this. People don't like that I ask that we treat all hypocrisy as hypocrisy whether it comes from Republicans or Conservatives. People also don't like that I call them to task for equating a halfpint sex addict like Clinton to the worst monsters in history--Stalin, Hitler, etc. I think this is a perversion of history, and a disservice to the victims of Stalin and Hitler. Clinton has many flaws, but bloodlust is not among them (and, no, I don't believe he killed Vince Foster or Ron Brown, etc.).

Like Harry S Truman said (aha--a Democrat!!!): "I don't give anyone H-ll. I just tell them the truth, and it seems like H-ll."
