Clueless investors: CMTN

After CMTN released the record surprised earnings, traders and investors, came to this stock all at once it left a huge gap and then over bought this stock. However under current market conditions, the nervous traders and investors oversold this stock. What happens in this sector is when one stock moves up it gets sold and traders move into the others. It is still the same company. Nothing changes. So, does this means this is not good company? No, this is still good company. The sequential growth is 78% and over 1000% over last year. So is this stock overpriced? under the current price, the answer is no. P/S is 37 and it is making money. Look at the estimate, the earnings growth. Look at RBAK. Its P/S is 112 and losing money. Is it a leader of its sector?

Greenfield Online surveyed 3000 web users and found:

Q1 99 - 86% shopped online; 74% bought something
Q2 99 - 83% shopped online; 71% bought something

Part of the drop in both shopping and buying is thought to be seasonal. But the researchers do no think that accounted for it completely. Till now, the survey had resulted in 4 consectutive qtrs of shopping increases.
