What remedy would you want? Remedies if he has made such misstatements? Simply admit his error. Take responsibility for such self promotional statements being made and remaining uncorrected since September of last year. In short acknowledge that he did something wrong. After that let the chips fall where they may. But as it stands, if these allegations are correct, he may well be resorting to the cowardly course of hoping the issue will go away. I think this greatly compounds his credibility problems. In fact I think this speaks to a larger character flaw and a more profound inability to problem solve. But until he deals with it, by specifically proving that such allegations are false or acknowledging that they are correct this problem will fester.
