During the Republican Convention, he stated that the he had a problem with the Republican stand on the issue of affirmative action. Perhaps he has changed his mind since. No, I have not read the book.

What qualifies him to be President?

Colin Powell is well respected, well qualified,and IF he ran and IF he was pro-life(which I do not think he is) he would get my vote. But he is not running so we have to move on.
