Oh, I love the idea of the cat bringing a dead bird in during dinner! Wouldn't that be an ice-breaker! Just the thing to liven up a stuffy dinner party. Not that this one is going to be stuffy, of course.

So, let me guess, you're going to cook something complicated that you've never made before, in honor of the guests? Something you've only read about in cookbooks? My thought: throw away the smoked salmon. Even though it's vacuum packed. Unless it was irradiated.

I am using SI Beta to try to catch up with messages, and it's funny but they are messing with it today. For a while, they had Search By This Subject Only back but it seems to be gone again. And only a few minutes ago they took away the function where you could enter a post number and it would go to that post. Weird.

No, wait, the functions are still there but only if you click on the topic title, like "Don't Ask Rambi," and you get the list of the last 40 posts.
