Of course 50X royalty is not very astonishing because royalties are very tiny today. I believe that they are all based on only one product: The Nintendo 64 which is the one true design win for the earlier generation Rdram and I can't remember how much dram it has but I'm sure that it is not very much (like maybe 4Mbyte or 8Mbyte). So 50 times a tiny number is not earth shaking. But the fact that they are profitable under these circumstances is astonishing and says a lot about what their finances will be once the royalty stream starts ramping up.

I can't get the Media Player to work. Can anyone tell me exactly what Tate said about AMD and Rambus? Is there a marriage in their future? (at least product-wise).
