Interesting post James...

Flat CPI #s could make or break a FED hike and ensuing possible rally. At this point the herd seems to be looking for some direction, any lack of direction could lead to a flat or slightly down market headed into the 24th, and a growing? possibility for the FED to hold fast on rates this time around.

The more I read and study, the more I begin to consider the possibility of a flat market moving forward ( a scenario that seems to be out of the realm of consideration for many. )

Why does the market have to violently lurch either up or down? If liquidity is indeed an issue, which I believe it is, couldn't flat or slightly up or down moneyflows into the market, coupled with continued relatively benign economic indicators and conditions going forward, put this market into a "stasis" of sorts until the new millenium?

Just some thoughts...

Always enjoy your posts,

Best Regards,

John
