I wanted to open a question about QCOM's ownership in Phone.com (formerly Unwired Planet). The company has shot through the roof in the past 2 weeks. Initially, the company went public with 4 million shares with a current market value of $400 million.

QCOM was one of the initial investors in Phone.com. The company specializes in microbrowsers for internet ready cell phones. I am curious if anyone knows how many shares of Phone.com are outstanding. If the company structured itself similiar to Red Hat, you could presume the company has a total of 45 million shares. That would give the company a total market cap of $4.5 billion.

Also, does anyone know QCOM's actual ownership in the company? Since QCOM was in the original round of private financing, I would not be surprised if the percent was greater than 10%. I waiting for a prospectus on the company right now.
