Michael, LU will not even get a blip on the screen with this. The knowledgeable people involved realize the state of WCOM and that the network could have been rebooted a week ago with positive results. Btw, the engineers are still with the company. Very informed group of statements there, Michael..

Lucent spends alot of time talking about the five 9's of reliablity. Wonder what 10 days of downtime do to the yearly reliability number. It sure isn't 99.9999% up.

One of Lucents main thrust against Cisco has been the reliability issue. They are going to have to tone that down now.

Thats the downside of building a glass house.
