LindyBill,

A different thinking.

Frank and I don't go into a company anymore until it is a sure thing. We have both been burnt on "good information" on companies that have not crossed the chasm yet. We find it is much easier and safer to get rich when the potential problems are out of the way. Just a difference in thinking, MM.

With the way Q is going now, we can all sit back and enjoy the ride. I have been trying to explain to friends who don't understand Q that "it's the earnings, stupid!"

If Q did not spin off LWIN.

If Q did not start to watch the bottom line.

If ERICY only signs a license like other manufacturers.

If Q did not sell its infrastructure business.

You sure do not want to call Q a gorilla, do you? You will continue to see Q "coming into buying range". It is not a single "cross the chasm" event that changes the fate of Q.

Q has been making money almost every quarter ever since I started to follow it in 1994. It just had to cover those big losses from its mishaps previously. What do you mean by "it is the earning!"? Without ERICY buying Q's infrastructure business, you really do not know how much fat that Q had to carry previously. Does anyone except insiders realized how large a loss Q had to carry before? No one even Gregg. And nobody knows just how much burden that Q has to carry on G* if G* is not a successful adventure. You and I better support G* in a big way to make sure our Q do not fall from grace like MOT.

True, it is the future earning that makes Q jump so high so fast in six months. However it is not because Q all of a sudden making money so fast and becoming a gorilla over night.

Best,

Brian H.
