Hi,
I enjoyed reading your results with Microsoft Investor.
MO = 9.7% since 1990 + 4% dividend
I decided to see what would have happened if you had AIMed this one, so I got to work with PCA. Imade the following assumptions.
1 Initial investment $6973 Stock and $3027 in cash.
2 Did Purchases or sells every other week.
3 Set Buy safe at zero and sell safe at 20%(I find this works best with DOW stocks)
My results were interesting
Mr. Buy and Hold ended up with a profit of $14402 + dividends
Mr. AIM ended up with a profit of $13863 + dividends +about $4000 in dividends onthe cash reserve.
IMO this proves that AIM works best as LONG TERM INVESTMENT
MO is a stock that most here on this thread would not consider a good AIM stock. It spends too much time going up.
Hope everything is going as well as possible with the chemo.
Bernie

Hi Dave, I'll have to go try to find my way around at MS INVESTOR. Never been there.

I like the idea of having someone else calculate all that!!

Best regards, Tom
