Apologies for my post were made as soon as I became aware of it's erroneous nature. On reading the 'official' news release one day later, I immediately released a statement in the form of an apology to all boards that were posted to. This included (in order of importance) Silicon Investor, Raging Bull(post#362),Yahoo(posted on 8/8/99),and Motley Fool(also posted on 8/8/99). I realized upon checking up on these sights later on, my Silicon Investor post never took. I believe that was due, in part by my not previewing the article. I assumed it posted after I clicked on 'submit.'Being new to the board, I think you can understand the honesty of my mistake. Although I didn't reveal my source(and still won't), I one day hope ,in some small way that it will pay off. But as my post stated, I won't be posting anything in the future unless it comes from an 'official' news release. That, and my opinions on various happenings of course. Because afterall, what good are these boards if the information on here is incorrect in nature and no one can rely on them to help in their decision-making process? Absolutely none. And I understand people will always have their own agendas(shorters as well as longs), but eventually hype gives way to fact...sooner or later....for better, for worse. p.s.- here's the original for all those that missed it. MY APOLOGIES FOR THE ERRONEOUS INFORMATION. Regarding post # 350 (from nvestr69)-I should have known better than to have thought I could have been as lucky as to have gotten a hold of someone who would have been truthful about the release time for the website. I guess "certain" people find it amusing to mess around with another person's livelihood. I would have preferred the silent treatment or the usual 'stone walling' over posting misleading information. I'm only glad an official release was made available soon thereafter to correct it's error. Although the date that was posted was not far from the actual timeline( one week difference), I'm sure, come Monday, the stock price would have reflected it's disappointment. Again my apologies. In all future posts only official company releases will be used as a reference point as a means of assuring accuracy and reliability. In for the long haul. Go USAB!!!
