Alan - I'm curious to hear how long you traded from the "real-world job" before you made the jump. I myself am plotting an "escape trajectory", so among the tips I collect is how long it is taking you pros to make the transition.

I also suffer from that Mtn time zone problem, but am not very clear-headed at 6am, much less 4:30. Plan to stick to swing trades.

Thanks Alan, it must have been hard to do that ,im glad you dont have to do that anymore,but with me if i know i have to wake up at 5 or 530 i wont be able to sleep, i enjoy trading and i enjoy the market,this is the major obstacle i have to overcome.
I think bible study kept me up to late last night but some things i cannot miss :)
