Around here almost everybody squats on the toilet. They leave big footprints, and break all the toilet seats. Hard habit to break, though.

When Spouse and I were dating for a while, she used the facilities at my apartment and I asked her "do you ever look into the toilet after you..." and I trailed off because she gave me this "who's this WEIRDO" look and said an unsteady "nooo... ??" I sorta shut up for a while. I reminded her of this a few weeks later - I was still feeling pretty bad about it, and she bust a gut and said in not so many words - "Gotcha!"
