notice the market sell off. plus, look at ge's price reversal today.
closed below the open.

in cash and looking to short tomorrow.

(sp500 did a 50% retrace from the lows. it did on light volume) thus merely an oversold bounce, and not a power rally.

Fez, I've noticed GE's 2nd quarter has been seasonally their best as of late,the last two years were record setters.What's the recent history on 3rd quarters,where the earnings come out in October,a rather notorious month for the markets?? Good luck to us GE longs!

P.S.After further review I agree with you concerning a split vs a buyback.Seems like January could be an explosive time with y2k out of the way?
