Well, the mtutal fund regulation worries were real and material. And I'm glad that they are -- for now -- behind us.

However:
1. If we're still an incubating company, AV gets spun off in what I would hope would be a deliciously juicy IPO
2. The problem would then return, no?

If they bought AV solely -- or even primarily -- to avoid holding company regulations, then they WAY overbought and I would have doubts about their strategic thinking. SURELY, they bought AV for more than a legal dodge. SURELY, there's a strategic vision implied in the purchase. And yet, if DW is quoted correctly, that means CMGI is NOT to be an operating company... Something's not colinear here, ya know?
