I guess it was a good thing that SI was "screwed-up" for me and I wasn't able to post yesterday. I was going to make one grand finale and get a lot off my chest. However, in dumping my shares yesterday, I forgot about a couple thousand I had in an IRA, so I'm still the "proud" owner of XOMA.

MO is that blame should not be dropped in Ellen's lap. I have no doubt that what was conveyed to Bloomberg had more than a slight degree of truth. Having participated in the publishing industry for over 25 years, having been interviewed for national publications, and threatening lawsuits over potential misquoting me, there would be a simple solution to this issue of Bloomberg being wrong on this issue. There is the simple matter of a RETRACTION being demanded and in the case of XOMA issuing a company press release stating that Bloomberg was wrong. However, what we have gotten is this meager "I didn't say it" and of all people the CFO being quoted that maybe things were misconstrued. Why is the CFO being quoted? Where in the HELL is the Chairman and CEO......on his life raft, steering it to that safe harbor in Bermuda!

Monday was an absolute fiasco with very few peers in the annuls of corporate screw-ups. IMO XOMA is dead money for a long period of time. Nothing is on the immediate horizon that will jump start this lunker....other than a merger and this might not be out of the question. At least we might get a CEO that believes in being a "true" CEO and not shirk his duties.

AGAIN....Where is a company press release and where is the demand for Bloomberg to Retract....the absents of such speaks louder than words and apparently has gives credence to Bloomberg's article.

Opal, please talk to the company about these things. George, DON't make the mistake of assuming this is your regular dealings with the FDA. This is a BIOLOGICAL that is being studied VERY CLOSELY with the FDA. Just notice how MANY meetings Xoma had with the DSMB AND the FDA during the trial. Xoma even worked so closely with the FDA that their press release was even PROOF READ BY THE FDA! This drug is a BIOLOGICAL with Subpart E designation. These are unchartered waters in that respect AND A VERY complicated indication with BOTH MORTALITY AND MORBIDITY!!!!!! It doesn't get anymore complex than that. I am desperately trying to convey things BUT it is very hard when some just want to speculate without spending time with the company. Amazing to me how some will put up their hard earned dollars which took them so long to create and won't spend a few minutes with the company asking questions. These are only my thoughts and opinions don't take any of it as accurate, do your own due diligence. People, once again CALL the company and let us discuss what they told you.
