Thanks Bob - interesting read. Hard to believe that ML has a price target of 120 on PCLN.

By the way - is the practice of setting price targets a relatively new thing? It just seems like an odd thing to do - it would appear that a revenue or profit target would be more sensible in trying to predict future company performance. But in setting price targets, analysts are really doing nothing more than trying to predict investor sentiment. And that makes me wonder what exactly these "analysts" are analyzing?

Thanks for the link.
-Eric

Alright, no one wants to say it but here it is: Blodgett is scared out of his pants. "Holiday" run?? Quite obvious huh?!! That was a dead giveaway. He made a mistake and he's going to get cooked on this one. His credibility is at a very critical point here. He makes a call, to me, out of desperation. Where was he when it was at 85???????

Do some research on Tom Kurlak when he was there. He got killed by INTC. I remember calling everyone I knew the day he lowered his price target, (for the last time), on INTC down to 60(pre split). The stock was at 68. It dipped and then by mid afternoon turned. It has never looked back. Not only did INTC split but so did Kurlak.

Blodgett is pretty close, IMO. He knows it and if he is peeking on these threads, he knows what I'm saying.

Watch.

Sabre!
