OK Gerald, every case is different I suspect.

I suppose you would agree with the ebay CEO then that Sun is the cause of all their problems over there, and that it is very dignified to issue press releases to that effect (that it is all Sun's fault) and that this kind of behavior leaves the customers and shareholders feeling like the CEO is in complete control of the situation?

Because to an outsider, thats what the LU/wcom situation looks like. Maybe you internal people know different, but I'm just speaking of the pure PR angle... the handling of the situation etc.

Gerald, the reality is that LU really does care, but what was apparently the issue is the repetition of comments by the WCOM management chastising LU for WCOM issues, criticizing in public the fact that CSCC boxes are now LU without the old CSCC support (which was primarily involved) and comments withdrawing 100% commitment to the planned network expansion. brian
