A $24 billion dollar trade deficit in an $8 TRILLION economy?? Let's be real now. Percentage wise, I'll betcha we all pay off more of our personal annual income in mortgages and vehicle payments. And considering the rest of world has been in a recession, and is likely to get slapped back even harder from Y2K, I'd say we're doing pretty friggin' well. Murphy, according to his self-written resume, used to work for Veneroso. And I'm glad I could help Bill M.
