truedog- re:hypocrisy Hi Truedog, Thank you for responding. And I understand how you are using the word sin here... not religious but doing things that are not good for oneself or others. If we throw religion into the mix, we may never finish the conversation ;) I agree with you that the people that have often been through the jungle are the best to instruct others how to navigate out, and this is demonstrated in the Anonymous clubs you mentioned. I think where I mis-communicated is with the "hypocrisy". What I mean by this is someone who has used drugs, anyone, and then supports Draconian polices that do nothing to help people who use or are addicted to drugs, but only make it worse are hypocrites... that is they say one thing and do the opposite. If Bush has used drugs, which I don't doubt because he does not answer the question, "Have you ever used drugs?". (I mean a straight answer... I know... good luck getting a straight answer from a politician.) Not only that, they appear inept, ignorant and beholden to greater powers that does nothing but perpetuate the problem. I mean sending drug users to prison is like sending an alcoholic to a bar. The hypocrisy is especially close to the political surface after the Clinton fiasco left a nice media opening for Larry Flynt to expose all the hypocrites who were criticizing him on moral grounds. I remember here in California someone was running for I think it was Governor and he was saying how we have a problem with illegal alliens and all this stuff, and then they find out he has employed one for years and his kids and wife really are attached to her... she was one of the family. Open mouth, lift foot, put foot in... Just my opinion. Jon :)
