Postmortem (funny.. I don't feel dead??)

Going to sit on my BII short for another night - I have a buy in against it at $6.30 <gggg>. MD had that guillotine look to it at the end which should make it much harder to juggle than knives in the AM... we'll see. Anyhow, MOMO seems to have dropped off and once the NAS DT's get bored with it, it should plummet ( well that's not really a prediction - is it??LOL)... thought about selling this AM when it hit $7.10 for a small clip... hmm... time will tell if I made the right decision. It is still hanging in just below the apex of the pennant it formed today... I hope it hasn't decided to form a longer term trading range... yawn!! Greenline still doesn't provide any loan value against BII so playing with it really screws up my leveragability (is that a word??)... anyhow, I'd rather cover the short sooner than later but we'll see what it does in the morning.

ATY... what can I say??? Made a few bucks but not nearly what I could have... humph!! Given that I bought it at what I believed was a good price ($20.55) yesterday - in retrospect - I would have been much smarter following it up with trailing stops rather than selling out just below the wall I believed existed at $21.00. It is so difficult knowing when to be happy with a small gain vs. when to be a pig!!!<ggg> I think that the small gain strategy has been more successful for me over the long haul... but it sure is frustrating watching something you've just sold skyrocket!! - especially when it happens 2 days in a row!! Still don't know what triggered the climb... haven't seen any press releases, etc. other than that the Rage was selected by Fujitsu.. but they have those types of releases all the time with little impact. Will be digging around some more tonight. May be an "interesting" opportunity tomorrow - one way or the other <gggg>!!

MCF - which I'm not in - was kinda boring again today and didn't really close with any clear direction. I suspect it might continue to drift for a couple more days before it gets interesting again. The low $6.00 range seems to be where it attracts lots of attention... sure not behaving like a company that just filed its 20F though!! On the other hand, the shares may become more diluted in the short term which is likely to drive the price down before NAS fever sets in... just plan on watching it and playing the swings before I take any serious long positions for a while.

Sure is quiet around here - I'm feeling like I'm talking to myself these days. If nobody is trading, maybe they can drop in and post a joke or something. I know that is against the rules, but it isn't as if it is going to get in the way of "daytrading in real time" right now :->
