carefully:

The code was already full-blown optimized for
Pentium-III SSE, don't you see?!
Everybody knows how huge were Intel efforts to
promote KNI-SSE, therefore you may consider
that the 3DMark99-Max code was already tweaked
by Intel.

Apparently the FutureMark did very sloppy
job optimizing for AMD 3DNow with Athlon
extensions, or refused to incorporate
them in a timely manner, so AMD had to
step in and show the class. Are you
having problem with that?
