GPS Date Rollover Problem --- Note TNOR does not
rely on GPS.

Ref TNOR's positioning technology.
I understand that TNOR positioning relies
on two way communication between a GSM phone's SIM
card and a number of GSM Base Stations.

I am speculating that the system calibrates the distance
from the phone to each Base Station, by measuring the
round trip time of a message --
which is sent to phone, and returned to the Base Station, after being processed by the phone's sim card.

The processing is based on the fact that Radio Waves travel
at 300 million meters per second.

Finally, I do have some concern that CDMA phones do not
yet use SIM cards.

End of Speculation.
Any thoughts on this ??
