Ratan, in my opinion what India needs today is a benevolent dictator

Hi:
What India NEEDS is very different from what India GETS or ASKS FOR.
An average Indian is very opinionated, argumentative, intelligent (don't confuse intelligence with literacy), show-me, throw-the rascals-out kind of person. Remember that they threw Indira Gandhi OUT after her SHUCK-THE DEMOCRACY kind of administration. They are not humanoid robots, as some nations have fostered their citizens to be. I would consider that it is an insult to the intelligence of collective Indian psyche to advise that a benign dictator is what India needs.
I hope that I haven't offended your sensitivities on this matter. If so, please forgive me.
JPR
