it certainly is difficult to get excited without any info from the company.

It should be noted however that this is the first NR that deals specifically with the stock price. Everything else up to now has been about the deal itself or the mine. I think this shift could be interpreted as a sign that the management have finished their 100% focus on the fundamentals and operationals of the mine and have now moved to the stage of shareholder value and stock price.

This is a stock announcement, regardless of whether one agrees with the actual transaction, it should still be viewed as such.
