Scrumpy,

It's a real shame. TradeStation 4 was and is a great product albeit expensive, but you're right on - QCharts is going to eat their lunch. How long do you think it will be before QCharts adds a RadarScreen-like capability with real-time alerts? Once they do that, you can put a fork in ProSuite. As you point out, backtesting on historical data is highly overrated; however I would pay any price for future data ;-).

"nasty marketing games"? Scrumpy, you gotta be kidding! You order a product on a 30-day trial basis, don't return it within the 30 days, then you wonder why you got charged? What do you expect a company to do...let you keep the product indefinitely for free? Sorry, but your post doesn't make any sense to me. I don't see that you have any legitimate complaint.

BTW, Omega Research just sent me 2000i on a 30-day trial and they fully explained the deal ahead of time [although they didn't need to explain to me how a 30-day trial works...I'm not stupid enough to expect to not get charged after the 30-day trial period expires without my having sent the product back]. Omega Research, in my experience, has one of the best customer service and sales departments of any company I've had the pleasure to deal with. And their products are first-class and classy...unlike some of their customers.
