The IPO news release omegaresearch.com

The IPO details techweb.com

Omega WWW omegaresearch.com

This IPO appears to be just what this sector needed to provide some perspective to fundamentals e.g. market cap, PSR, etc.

Telescan, (NASDAQ:TSCN) wallstreetcity.com a competitor sporting similar revenues, which just turned profitable Q2 ending June 30, 1997, has a market cap appx. 1/5 OMGA pursuant to this IPO pricing of $10-$12/share. Due to the fact TSCN has had no direct publicly-held competitor, it has been difficult for the street and the market to assign appropriate fundamental multiples.

OMGA is raising $40 million and is going out with an appx. $225 million market cap. Accordingly, TSCN would be a logical acquisition target given TSCN's fundamentals, market share, proprietary technologies, and wallstreeetcity.com's purported exponentially growing brand equity/hit rates/ and OEM strategic alliances.
