The attorney general of new york state was quoted as saying: "Half of publicly traded companies are guilty of fraudulent accounting practices in regards to carryover earnings"

There was also the fellow who posted about a week ago, describing how Mary Meeker (who underwrote the IPO of his company recently) gave orders to the executives to not exceed a certain revenue limit. If true, that's criminal accounting fraud.

...i believe there was a report recently which stated that a significant % of cfo's were asked to 'lie' in financial reporting

RE: i said 'corporations lie'

But don't corporations also tell the truth.

RE: i do not know or pretend to know which corporations lie, but many, many do...

But don't "many, many" corporations tell the truth?

RE: what is it that you want from me...
are you trying to put words in my mouth...

I wanted to know if you believe Amazon is a "scam" and engaged in lying. If so what is your basis. Other than "corporations lie".

Since you said you don't know if they lie then I can infer that you don't know if they are a scam, right?

Amazon has consistently projected losses into the future. A scam, IMO, would be painting a rosy scenario of eminent profits knowing otherwise. Not losses as far as the eye can see.

RE: i think you owe me an apology

No I don't. Within the context of the "inuts as scams" topic you were clearly implying you thought Amzn was a scam, and engaged in lying. It was a reasonable inference.
