Drbes, I stopped reading your post after you assumed $400 average ASP. Totally unrealistic, imo. I hear IBM & CPQ got some "sweet deal" from Jerry to be 1st users.

My guess on ASP for Athlon is closer to $300.

At Fry's today, they said they would have Athlon chips and motherboards early September. I didn't ask about systems.
