The pro-life thing is one thing I don't like about Forbes...I like him in other areas though.

Don't be fooled by Forbes "soft sell" against abortion. His stand is very clear.

"The way you change the culture is by changing the law step by step," says Steve. He would begin by banning partial birth abortions, late-term abortions, abortions for the purposes of sex selection, fetal tissue research and federal funding of abortion."

This is one big crock, and shows very little sense. For instance, how do you stop abortions for purposes of sex selections? If it was known that "sex selection" abortions were against the law, would a woman admit to that as the reason? Would women be put on trial, and their doctors, because someone felt that the woman had a "sex selection" abortion instead of her just not wanting to become a mother at that point in her life.

And, being against fetal cell research is a real "head in the sand" act of stupidity. Fetal research and medical use of fetal tissue could cure a lot of diseases and pain.

Being against federally funded abortions is telling poor people to have more kids that they cannot afford, keeping them locked into the depths of poverty.

Forbes really sounds like a nice guy, doesn't he!
