RE: "Let's hope it's cyclical and not secular."

I've been overly conservative for the past couple of years because it "feels" like it's time for a secular bear. I'll be the first to admit that I missed out on some of the profits since DJIA 7400 because my paranoia made me drop to 60% equities.

Hopefully my "feelings" about the market are off-base. It's very difficult to make money in a secular bear market like 1966 - 1982.

Best wishes,

I2

I2: Thanks for the graphic examples of divergence between the NYSE Average vs the A-D line. Basis past history, may we all be grateful for that which we are about to receive. I'm at the Vigilence Ready and have my finger on the sell button awaiting the Bobster's Timing Model signal.>>>>>

Keep in mind that Bob has said the Dow is what is most important to watch now. If you look at that graph and imagine the Dow which is hanging around a high instead of the NYSE I think this divergence is even more impressive. Today was another unconvincing day with low volume despite options expiration and unimpressive A/D considering the move in the Dow. It looks like we're setting up for or going through another test of the highs which if fails may go down in history as the last of the bull. I hope we can make a little more progress in the NAZ before any possible sell signal so I can comfortably short the NAZ 100 if I want
