Jim: Here's some information that you and the thread may be interested in. No I don't work for Schwab, just a customer. I don't mind (quite as much) paying a higher commission and taxes as long as I make enough to make it worth while. Yesterday I mentioned that the QQQ seems to continue going in the direction it was after the final bell. I called Schwab who charges 29.95 per online electronic trade and asked about placing the QQQ after 4 PM. They said if you place the order online it goes to their online broker review before being sent on to the AMEX to be filled. They also said since this process is manual that they could miss it in some cases. They said the best bet is to place the trade and then call to make sure it was processed correctly. They Said of course you can place a phone order and have it routed to the AMEX. The other thing I found interesting is that the UOPIX and USPIX are fully marginable the next trading day after placing the order. Dennis
