And for the record, I've mentioned many manias in my post - the South Sea Bubble, the South American mining mania, the England Railroad mania, Gold Rush, etc. In truth, good profitable companies came out of all of these (except the South Sea Bubble). But also in truth, more people lost money during the mania than made it. Thanks, -Eric
