That is true, and I said that it might not be worth it...but then, I stipulated that I was talking about a slightly different issue, in response to E, which was whether or not there was an affirmative duty to mate, and therefore whether the decision not to do so was sociopathic. I also stipulated that I would understand a refusal to mate based upon depression. It was that to which you responded, and therefore I responded based on that line of conversation, not your original post... I am happy to see that you are not, in fact, a nihilist, but would like to perpetuate the race...The connection between saving a life and perpetuating the species is that belief in something beyond physical life does not mean that one thinks that earthly life is valueless....
